Named after Tange’s landmark tubeset, the original Orange Prestige represented the ultimate in hardtail steel frames, the strongest yet lightest of Tange CroMo tubing and svelte use of them combined into what many considered to be the perfect steel chassis.
For 2008 we’ve reintroduced a new classic Prestige, tweaked and tuned for the demands of the modern rider, lighter than a P7, thanks to the thin wall Tange Prestige’s period-perfect skinny tube diameters. This is no overbuilt bomb, more a classic sculpture, at 4.2lbs it’s lighter than many riders believe possible for a modern steel frame. Hardcore riders and big air artists should look elsewhere in our range.
Ultra exclusive, each Prestige frame is exactingly finished and individually numbered with Special Edition badges and, of course, will be available in any colour as long as it’s classic Prestige black.
We’ve come a long way since the introduction of the legendary Orange Prestige, but things haven’t changed.
